Bantry House Concerts
Masters of Tradition concerts begin again Wednesday 15th – 19th August with a fantastic line up of talented musicians. I just received the brochure and here is a quote from it “The festival is about creating a quiet and intimate atmosphere in which Irish music can be performed in a good acoustic environment and where listeners appreciate the subtle details of the music”
Performers (just some) Martin Hayes fiddle, Christy Moore and Steve Cooney , .Maire Ni Cheileachair singer, Kitty Hayes concertina, Paddy O’Brien accordion, Dennis Cahill guitar, Brian McNamara uileann pipes, and the list goes on and on.
Workshops at St. Goban’s College, Thursday 16th and Friday 17th, these will run from 11.00- 16.00 cost of €35.00 per workshop per day which is great value .
